1st Defender makes firefighter-inspired clothing and accessories, and contributes partial proceeds in support of firefighter causes -- such as cancer prevention and firefighter community support programs. ​As a firefighter with the San Francisco Fire Department and now retired, I have witnessed the dedication, challenges, and sacrifices firefighters make to carry out their duties -- and it is in this witnessing, and lasting reverberations of thankfulness and pride, that I dedicate this effort.
